Edinburgh, the Scottish Highlands, Dublin, Galway, and more. I've done this route plenty of times and know exactly where to slow down.

Islands, ruins, and perfect light.

Greece rewards the traveler who slows down. Pick two or three islands, spend real time in each one, and stop trying to see everything.

La dolce vita, your way.

Italy is my most requested destination and it earns it every time. The trick is getting off the main tourist circuit and into the neighborhoods.

London, the countryside, and everything in between.

London alone is good for a weekend, but it can easily fill a week if you do it right. England is much more than London, though, and I'm well-versed in all of it.

Castles, beer gardens, and serious history.

Germany is underrated and I say that a lot. Bavaria, Berlin, and the Rhine Valley are all very different trips, and I have firsthand experience across all of it.

Canals, tulips, and a city built for wandering.

Amsterdam is one of the best cities in the world to just walk around with no agenda. Haarlem, Delft, and Utrecht are easy day trips if you want more.

Fjords, midnight sun, and northern lights.

When you go matters more here than almost anywhere else. Summer is fjords and midnight sun; winter is northern lights and near-empty cities.

Otherworldly landscapes and zero crowds.

Iceland looks unreal in photos and still manages to exceed expectations in person. The Ring Road is the classic move, but a shorter trip works just as well.

Alpine villages, mountain trains, and total calm.

Switzerland is expensive, but the train network alone makes it worth it. You can move between the Alps, the lakes, and the cities without ever renting a car.

Edge-of-the-world trekking.

Patagonia takes real planning and the weather will humble you. Torres del Paine and the Perito Moreno Glacier are worth every bit of the effort.

Rainforest, rhythm, and coastline.

Brazil is too big to do all at once, and most people try anyway. Pick a region, go deep, and save the rest for next time.

Coffee, color, and Caribbean coast.

Colombia is having a moment and it deserves it. Cartagena, Medellin, and the Coffee Region are all very different and all worth your time.

Ancient ruins, high altitude, and incredible food.

Machu Picchu is as good as advertised. Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Lima's food scene are what turn it into a genuinely great trip.

Rockies, coasts, and wide-open wilderness.

Canada is a bigger trip than most people plan for. The Rockies (Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise) are the obvious draw, but Toronto is a genuinely great city and the Maritimes, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, are a completely different kind of trip worth making.

Jungle immersion, no resort required.

Costa Rica is small but it covers a lot of ground. Volcanoes, cloud forests, Pacific beaches, and solid wildlife viewing, all within a few hours of each other.

Charming towns, rugged coasts, and peak fall color.

New England is my home turf and I know it well. Maine, Vermont, Boston, Cape Cod. It works for a long weekend or a full week and rewards slow travel either way.

National parks, big skies, and open road.

I have driven these routes firsthand. Utah, Arizona, the Pacific Coast Highway, Colorado. Few things beat a well-planned road trip through the American West.

Sun, sea, and a proper reset.

The Caribbean is not one-size-fits-all. Matching the right island to what you actually want makes all the difference, and that's something we're good at.

Dramatic, lush, and unlike anywhere else.

St. Lucia has real character: the Pitons, the rainforest, the volcanic mud baths.

The clearest water you've ever seen.

Turks & Caicos is the answer when you just want a great beach and nothing complicated. Grace Bay is consistently one of the best in the world and it earns that ranking.

No passport required for U.S. travelers, direct flights from most East Coast cities, and a food scene that holds its own against anywhere in the world. Puerto Rico is an easy yes.
